Hello, I’m Andrew Martin, creator of www.familytreeuk.co.uk – the website that follows my research into my own Family Tree.
My research is about 85% Cambridgeshire, 5% Huntingdonshire, 5% Bedfordshire and then the remaining bits include a few families in Somerset, London, Devon, Kent and Norfolk amongst others.
I began my research back in 1996 and launched my website in 1998. Since then, i’ve followed both my Maternal and Paternal trees and have been able to work with other researchers and distant relatives to take me right back to 1589 (or my Great x 13, Grandparents) in one particular tree.
I’m an honorary member of The Littleport Society, to whom I donated a copy of my research, and my findings are indebted to their records and those of the Cambridgeshire Family History Society and the Cambridgeshire Archives.
